i've often been asked why i started a photography business. it was actually a thought that wondered in and out of my head for over a year. but once i read the book, "not for sale," i wept. and somehow, in that moment, i knew it was time to buy a camera. you see "not for sale" gives a voice to those whose voices have been stolen. it is a small cry for the screams of thousands of young women who are sold into the slave trade. precious little children are kidnapped from their homes, stripped of their identity, and sold into a life of prostitution. reading their stories changed my life. awareness of this horrible reality left a heaviness in my chest that couldn't be dismissed. their voices need to be heard. awareness must collapse into our realities. As a photographer and stay-at-home mom, sharing their stories, bringing their voices to you, and supporting their freedom and restoration, is the tiniest thing i can do for the millions who are alive, but have become dead inside.
please learn more about how you can join me in supporting the freedom of women, here, and around the world.
